You can also use our online electronic giving. 2)  Go shopping for items needed for "Cleaning Kits" and "Hygiene Kits." CLICK HERE for a complete list of items needed. Bring items to the church by the end of September.

3)  UPDATEKalamazoo First UMC has been designated as a collection center to receive Hurricane Relief supplies used for UMCOR Cleaning Kits (Flood Buckets) and Hygiene Kits. Engage With Us!

Welcome to First United Methodist Church of Kalamazoo! We extend a welcome to all who would like to join us and be a part of our faith community that believes in celebrating, experiencing and sharing God’s love.  Although we are diverse in many ways, we are united in a common commitment to Christ and a shared vision of ministry to all of God’s people.

On Sunday mornings, the Holy Spirit calls us to be creative, open and responsive in our worship. Our times of worship are Spirit-enriched, enhanced by music that both stirs and soothes the soul, and calls us to a path of strong discipleship that serves our neighbors and is active in the world. We believe that genuine faith expresses itself through our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness—both within and beyond the church. We hope you will find that First Church fits your spiritual needs and becomes your “faith home.”

So whether you live in the Kalamazoo area or are passing through, we hope you will take the opportunity to join us for a Sunday service.  If you have questions or comments, please contact any of the church staff.  If you are in need of spiritual guidance or prayer, please contact one of our pastors.

Looking forward to meeting you!
