Family/all church camping, July 30 - August 1

Now is the time to plan your summer vacations! In your planning, do not forget our family/all church camp. We will meet the evening of Friday, July 30 at Lakeview United Methodist Campground and spend the weekend enjoying a relaxing time together.

Lakeview has two lakes, fishing, swimming, boating, softball diamond, and lots of room for hiking or bike riding. We will share a meal on Saturday evening, worship on Sunday morning, and any other activities that present themselves. Usually we even have a craft project on Saturday.

You will need your own camping equipment, your own meals and $40/per camp site for the weekend. You may arrive a day or two early or stay extra nights for the same price and your own reservation.

First Church has reserved ten sites together up on the hill. Each site has water and electricity. The group of sites has its own showers, shelter and bathroom (flush toilets and warm showers).

Families are one person or sometimes very extended, but all are included. We hope many of you will plan to join us this summer. Monies must be paid soon with checks made to FUMC and “family camp” in the notation.
