Cocoa & Class is an opportunity to learn and grow in our faith. Classes include Bible study, life topics, outreach, and discovering how our faith can be relevant in our every day.  On the second Sunday of every month youth are encouraged to attend Emerging Worship in Wesley Hall at 9:30 am.  The themes of Emerging Worship determine our topics of study for Cocoa & Class. By attending and participating in Emerging Worship our times together in Cocoa & Class will be further enhanced. On many occasions youth will be asked to be one of the readers for worship or help to facilitate worship through various roles. Youth, please contact Rev. Julie Kline ( with questions or if you are interested in being a reader for worship.

Lent 2017: Green Church: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rejoice! “Being Green” is probably something you have heard your whole life. More than likely you are no stranger to a recycling bin, or to turning off lights when you leave a room, or maybe even composting! But do you recognize these habits as a way of faith? Each act that we do to heal and preserve the earth is an act of faith. During this sacred season of Lent let’s dig deeper into being green. Let’s understand what Climate Justice means. And then, let us do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with our God upon this gift of creation.

Confirmation 2017: Because this year’s class of eighth graders is small, they will join Confirmation 2018 and make a large and vital class together. If you have any concerns about this, please contact Pastor Julie Kline,
