Faith Family Fun Nights (VBS).  Save the dates for a new family fun experience this summer!  Rather than doing a traditional “Vacation Bible School” for a week as we have done for at least 15 years, this summer the Bronson Park churches are joining together to offer “Faith Family Fun Nights.” Parents (or other significant adults) are included with the children in a multi-generational program with crafts, games, and Bible stories applied to life. We’ll rotate around four of our downtown churches on Wednesday evenings, beginning with a prepared meal

at 5:30 p.m., ending by 8 p.m. Here is the schedule of church rotations:  July 24 - First Presbyterian Church,
July 31 - St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, August 7 - First Congregational Church of Christ, August 14 - First UMC. More information on sign-ups for Faith Family Fun Nights will be in the June First Word.
Sunday School Teacher Thanks!  Sunday School is now on summer break until we resume our program year schedule on September 9. We send out a huge "Thank You!" to our teachers this year:  Anne Sherfield, Dan Russell, Lisa Whittaker, Kari Parthasarathy, Penny Russel, Emilie Faillo, Colleen Treman, Vickee Seals, Janie Kinas, Jocelyn Newman, and Lisa Coe.  These faithful servants prepared the lessons, arrived early, and worked to provide our children with a solid foundation of Biblical wisdom, besides incarnating God’s love!
Godly Play.  Godly Play for young children will continue through the summer, with one group meeting in Room 200 following the “Time for the Child in All of Us” during the 10 a.m. worship service.
Baptism. Our next date for baptisms is July 28, 2019. If you are interested in baptism for yourself or a child, please contact Rev. Steve Charnley or any of our pastors.
Baseball!  Save the date! Our July Family Fun event will be to attend a Kalamazoo Growlers baseball game together on Friday, July 12, at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $9/person, which includes a Growlers cap. Please sign-up and pay for your tickets by July 7!
