Volunteer builders from our congregation work under the direction of the Disability Network to provide ramps for individuals in our community. Ramps result in greater freedom and independence for recipients. In some cases, it means recipients are able to stay in their own homes rather than move to a nursing home.
Volunteers from our church work together with people from Haven Reformed Church, Centerpoint Church, Westwood Reformed Church, and Red Arrow Ministries, collaborating with local Habitat for Humanity chapters. Funding is provided in part by the United Way, St. Joseph/Benton Harbor Rotary, and the Battle Creek Community Foundation.
If you are in need of a ramp, contact Laurie Grimm at Disability Network, 269-345-1516, ext. 115.
