First Care is a fully licensed childcare center that provides exceptional child care for the children of working parents. First Care provides a Christian environment where the values of caring, sharing and loving are constantly encouraged. Our program also promotes a sense of self and respect for one another. The childcare center is located in a secure area of First United Methoidst Church of Kalamazoo. There is an outside playground and the children have daily rides in their large buggy (weather permitting)!

  • Open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
  • Full and part-time openings available.
  • “Sibling discount” of 10% off the older sibling’s tuition.
  • Scholarships may be available for up to 50% tuition.

The church’s First Care Child Care Center, open Monday through Friday, is hiring part-time assistant teachers. Applicants must have a passion for working with children and be certified in early childhood education (or working towards certification).
