Holy Thursday Worship

I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.” —John 13.34 

Our Holy Thursday service begins at 7pm and will include hand washing and the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Please join us as we begin the trio of services that burst into the resurrection celebration of Easter. Before the resurrection there was the washing of feet, breaking of bread, prayer, and the anxiety of the violence that would break the body of Jesus. In these days, we must linger and not rush to the resurrection. Jesus asks his disciples to stay with him, pray with him, keeping vigil as the darkness descends.  On this holiest of nights, we receive the good news: God has come in Christ Jesus, to fill us with hope and peace, to bathe us in grace and mercy. The service will be livestreamed.
