Mother’s Day/Celebration and Blessing of Our Seniors/Covenant of Baptism Sunday. On this fourth Sunday of Easter we celebrate the baptism of one of our youngest disciples, and we celebrate those who are graduating this spring. The text found in the Gospel of John reminds us that we are known, and loved, and kept by the risen Christ. Even more, Christ like a good shepherd, knows our voices, and those who follow Christ know the gentle guidance of his voice. We pray our newly baptized one grows to know this voice, and that our graduates enter this newest time in their lives following the voice that has been their guide all along.
