Bless Be to Me - The Struggling Times Led by Rev. Julie Kline. Celtic spirituality has always been about simply living the life, following the Way, travelling the journey in the everyday ordinariness of life. This includes the pain and the pleasure, the heartaches and the hopes, the disappointment and the dreams. In essence, this is simply what spirituality is for all of us. All too often when we consider our blessings we focus on those things that feel “good.” And yet, the Celtic tradition extends the meaning of blessing to especially times of loss. Think of a time when you have been on the “struggle bus.” Often, when we are able to reflect upon those times we realize that we have been blessed by the struggle, not in spite of the circumstances but because of them. Blessing does not deny sorrow but deepens and moves us through it. Come for a Spirit-filled Soul Feast that embraces our joys and our struggles, and finds joy in the all of our God-filled life.
